Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of services offered by Mighty Meat Shield ("we," "us"), operated by Icosacron. By purchasing a Trial Pass, subscription, or other offering, or by participating in our games, you agree to these Terms.

1. What we provide

We provide hosted, game-master-run tabletop roleplaying experiences, including persistent "Play-by-Post" campaigns, live sessions, community access via Discord, and free browser-based character tools. Services are delivered online. Availability of specific worlds, seats, and features may change.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to purchase. Some content is intended for mature audiences. By participating you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Payments and billing

• The Trial Pass is a one-time charge of $30 for 30 days of access.
• The direct subscription is billed weekly at $15 (or the listed rate for custom groups/duets) until cancelled.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
• You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation stops future charges. See our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to treat other players and staff with respect, follow community guidelines posted in our Discord, and not engage in harassment, hate speech, cheating, or disruptive behavior. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that harms the community, without refund where the conduct warrants it.

5. Content and intellectual property

Worlds, settings, NPCs, systems, art, and tools we create remain our intellectual property. Contributions you make in play (your characters and writing) remain yours, but you grant us a non-exclusive license to use them as needed to run the shared, persistent world.

6. No warranty

Services are provided "as is." We make no guarantees about uninterrupted availability, specific outcomes, or that a particular world or seat will remain open.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [GOVERNING STATE], United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
