Subscription FAQ
Q: Why subscribe direct instead of through StartPlaying?
A: Same world, same seat, but booking direct skips the marketplace fee, so it's $15/week instead of $18. If you prefer StartPlaying's scheduling and reviews, that option stays open on each world's page.
Q: Can I cancel anytime?
A: Yes. Billing is weekly through Stripe and you can cancel from the customer portal whenever you like. Because the world is persistent, your character stays in-world; an active subscription keeps your agency in the current seasonal storyline and World Boss events.
Q: What happens right after I subscribe?
A: You land on a welcome page: join the Discord, run the onboarding, and you'll get a personal note from Cid within 12 hours to slot you into a world.
Q: Which worlds can I join?
A: Browse the live worlds and pick one. A few flagship worlds also run on StartPlaying; the rest are direct-subscription only.
